She Had a Smile That Could Drive a Man Insane
Pretty intense run-through yesterday. Went from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Had far too many sweets, but at least I'm doing my morning exercises still. At least I'm maintaining my morning routine somewhat, despite some deviances.
I wish I didn't have to tackle this and the beginning of school... back when I was in high school, my productions in the acting class usually debuted in April... which I felt was pretty manageable. Not at the beginning of the winter term and not near the end towards exams. I have far too much to think about this month... far too much planning to do. At least I've got my three monologues, more or less, but I wish I'd found a substitute for my monologue from Laramie. I feel like it's lazy to do a monologue that you already know by heart, one that you've already been doing at least three times a week.
But maybe that's my exceptionally high standards kicking in.
Things to accomplish today: Laundry, seeing Darryl, seeing the prof (shit, hope he's still in his office), getting rice and soap and perhaps other things, doing all this before needing to go off at six for the dress rehearsal. Also, finding my USB for S-M. Things. Things!
Already bored about talking about myself. Etc.

(Anonymous) 2011-01-11 10:02 am (UTC)(link)I know doing all of the things you are doing is tough, especially while the play is running but keep your dedication up, it's a campaign and it will end and you will feel a great sense of accomplishment if you pull it all off. And then you'll know you can do it. You don't have to be perfect, just get through it with a few victories. Good luck my son.
Love you,
Dad
