(PS don't make the mistake of comparing yourself and your output with Lovecraft's--yes, he "tossed" these treatises off, but he was also crippled in other serious ways that you blessedly are not. We each have our own gifts, and our own burdens, and there's nothing to be gained in comparing--"releasing comparing mind," as the Buddhists say, and accepting yourself as you are is the beginning of happiness and, dare I say, wisdom. )
