It was a mistake to stay here.

Slept in the tent and everyone else got drunk at various art/fashion shows on the island, apparently. Should've gone to stay in a different environment with a loving canine creature warming my bed. Get my sleep schedule back in order, stop this lethargic avoidance of work.

I really do need to get some sleep.

Going into self-loathing, which isn't any good. I've been here before. I know it's useless.

Thinking about all the things I can't have. All the projects left behind, could restart, probably will abandon again. Endless. No progress. Stasis.

Need to go to bed.

I miss the friends I never talk to anymore.

Yes, saw the gang at the art show...Jonathan wondered why you hadn't come. I'd forgotten it was Betsy Fairbrother's art show, so of course you (and they) might have wanted tocome. But truth be told was still in shock from accident to my finger...better today. Call re seeing Jessica. Love, mom
